Let's be serious. You know what people work for - apart from the whole 'make friends and influence people' thing, one of the firsts on their mind is money.
I am not going to pretend I run this company to ONLY help you, your company, or whatever it is I will be working on with you. I'm not going to pretend I don't ENJOY the work either. But that's a different matter.
When you hire me, you will be doing two things:
You'll be taking on a Virtual CIO who delivers. What this means
You'll be paying me a fair rate.
The reason I put this upfront is simple - I hear people bleat about not having money, when they actually have it. I dont refuse to use my skills to grow your organization, so all I ask is that you be fair.
The contract I sign will also have an addendum; a whole separate page; that specifies exactly what will be delivered. There are Service Level clauses within the agreement; that cannot be breached.
